2nd Update: Suspect Arrested in Fatal Stabbing of Man Found at 218 Plaza Verde

October 20, 2014 - Houston police have arrested a suspect in the fatal stabbing of a man found at 218 Plaza Verde about noon on August 15.

The suspect, a 16-year-old male, is in custody and referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation Department authorities on a charge of murder. He is accused for his role in the death of Senen Dominguez, Jr., 29, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Photos of juvenile suspects are not releasable.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant H. Garcia and Officer C. Cardenas reported:

A City of Houston employee discovered Mr. Dominguez in a wooded area. Further investigation determined Dominguez, who was homeless, had suffered multiple stab wounds. There was no known motive nor suspect(s) in the case.

Investigators identified a juvenile male as a suspect in this case and, on October 8, he was arrested without incident while being questioned at 1200 Travis.

This case is ongoing with additional arrests possible.
