April 13, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 13900 State Highway 288 about 9:25 p.m. last Friday (April 10).

The male victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Trometer and Officer M. Rios reported:

According to witnesses, the victim, a pedestrian, was attempting to cross the freeway from the median when he was struck by a silver Honda Pilot traveling northbound.  The driver remained at the scene.  No charges have been filed in the accident.

The investigation is continuing.
