Investigation into Man's Death at 10803 Bazin

February 9, 2015 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 10803 Bazin about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 8).

The identity of the victim and his cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Officer M. Stahlin reported:

The victim got into a physical altercation with two neighbors just after midnight after the neighbors believed he had broken into one of their vehicles. The neighbors ran after the male and a brief fight ensued before all parties went their separate ways. Later, the male complained he was feeling light headed. He was found unresponsive on his bed later that evening (about 7:30 p.m.) and pronounced deceased. No obvious signs of trauma were found during the scene investigation.

Should an autopsy find the male's death was a homicide, the incident will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
