March 2, 2015 - Houston police are investigating a fatal traffic accident at 6300 Telephone Road about 5:25 a.m. on Sunday (March 1).  

The identity of the male victim, 30, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer E. Rubio reported:  

The driver of a gray GMC Sierra pickup truck was traveling northbound on Telephone Road, when he failed to control his speed and struck a tractor trailer truck at the intersection of Bellfort.  The driver of the GMC was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the tractor trailer, determined not to be impaired, was not injured.
