Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7313 Northline Drive

March 25, 2014 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 7313 Northline Drive about 1 a.m. today (March 25).

Both victims were transported to an area hospital where one was pronounced dead.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer X. Avila and Officer R. Lujan reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting at the above address.  Upon arrival, they learned two males had been shot after the suspects knocked on the victims' front door.  Both victims were transported to an area hospital where one was pronounced dead and the other was treated and released.

The suspects are described only as two Hispanic or light-colored black males.  Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
