May 6, 2015 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9550 North Wayside about 10:55 p.m. on Tuesday (May 5).

The victim, Lazarus Dennis Davis, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer T. Andrade and Officer D. Williamson reported:

Officers were called to a disturbance at the above address and found Mr. Davis unconscious in the parking lot of the apartment complex.  He had been shot at least one time.  Paramedics arrived and pronounced him deceased.

At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspect(s).
