April 5, 2019 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of three men and the wounding of two other persons at 1312 Robin about 10:35 p.m. on July 4, 2016.

The suspect, Jerome Moore (b/m, 20), is charged with capital murder (multiple murder) in the 179th State District Court.  A photo of Moore is attached to this news release.

Three victims, Daquarius Tucker, 19, Charles Jackson, 29, and Jamal Dixon-Lackey, 26, were pronounced dead at the scene.  A fourth male, 37, and a juvenile male, 10, were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and C. Cegielski reported:

Residents were having a neighborhood fireworks display at the above address.  During the gathering, Mr. Tucker was targeted by a rival gang and shots were fired.  Tucker was killed, as were two other bystanders (Jackson and Dixon-Lackey) who were in close proximity to him.  Two additional victims were wounded.
