July 22, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8700 Bissonnet Street about 7:10 p.m. on Saturday (July 20).  

The victim, 17, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers Z. Brumley and M. Althaus reported:  

The victim was walking eastbound on a sidewalk near the above address when an SUV of unknown make and model pulled alongside him.  The victim and three unknown males inside exchanged words and the suspects inside then began shooting at the victim, who was struck once in the left elbow.  Paramedics transported him to the hospital.
