Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1600 Greens Road
March 18, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 1600 Greens Road about 3:15 a.m. Sunday (March 17).
The identity of the victims, a male, 25, and a female, 24, are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Benavidez and Officer V. Ramos reported:
The male victim was driving a white Chevrolet Equinox eastbound on Greens road when he failed to maintain a single lane and drove onto the grassy median and struck a tree. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other persons nor vehicles involved in this crash.
The investigation is continuing.
