Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 14833 Katy Freeway
September 27, 2019 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man that occurred at 14833 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) about 3:20 a.m. today (September 27).
The victim, Chad Jones, 36, suffered a stab wound to the neck and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Detective D. Stark reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of an individual stabbed at a motel at the above address. Upon arrival, they found several people attempting to treat Mr. Jones before Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported him to the hospital.
Witnesses reported Jones had been arguing with an unknown suspect who fled the scene after the stabbing.
