December 4, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1415 West Gulf Bank Road that occurred about 6:55 p.m. on Thursday (December 3).

The victim, Tyrome Ervin, 24, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants B. Smith and T. Hollohazy reported:

Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Houston Fire Department paramedics with the victim. Further investigation revealed an unknown suspect in a tan Buick sedan drove by and fired shots at Ervin.

At this time, there is no known motive.
