Investigation into Shooting at 12510 North Freeway

December 16, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 12510 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 2 a.m. today.  

One victim, Kenneth Adams, 33, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.  The other victim, Everett Dembry, 24, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives L. Kauffman and C. Bowling reported:  

The two victims were in the parking lot of a sports bar at the above address when an altercation ensued.  A male involved in the altercation fired what appeared to be a rifle into the parking lot.  Mr. Adams was struck in the head and Mr. Debry was struck in the hip area.  Both men were transported to the hospital.  

The suspect is described only as a black male.
