December 21, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 4213 Davenport Street about 1:55 a.m. on Saturday (December 19).  

The victim, 47, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective L. Hicks reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at a residence at the above address and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the back of her leg and a graze wound to the back of her head.  Officers provided medical assistance and then called HFD paramedics.  

At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
