Investigation into Shooting at 7200 Keller Street

March 11, 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 7200 Keller Street about 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday (March 10).  

The victim, 15, was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening wound.  

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers M. Combs and S. Laird reported:  

The victim was with his friends near a basketball court at a park at the above address when a vehicle, described as an older model white Jeep Cherokee, drove up.  the front seat passenger pulled out a pistol and fired shots at the group.  The victim was struck in the upper leg.  The vehicle fled the scene after the shooting. 

According to witnesses, the shooter, described only as a young Hispanic male, was waving a brown flag out the window of the vehicle prior to the shooting.
