Investigation into Shooting at 4700 Wenda Street

October 12 2020 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male and female at 4700 Wenda that occurred about 4:50 p.m. on Friday (October 9).

Both the male victim, 17, and female victim, 18, suffered what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Thornton and E. Bridges reported:

The victims were standing outside an apartment building at the above address when a car, described only as a gold Pontiac, drove past them and the suspect(s) fired multiple shots from inside the vehicle.  The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and the female victim suffered a graze wound to her arm.  The male was transported to an area hospital by Houston Fire Department paramedics.  The female was transported to the hospital by a private vehicle.

At this time there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
