September 28, 2020 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 8500 South Braeswood Boulevard about 10:05 p.m. last Friday (September 25).  

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Pham and Officer J. Broussard reported:  

The victim was driving a gray Buick LaCrosse westbound at a high rate of speed near the above address when he lost control of the vehicle, drove over a center median and struck a tree.  The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.  

No other persons or vehicles were involved in the crash.  

The investigation is continuing.
