December 13, 2021 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 5103 Trail Lake Drive about 12:40 a.m. on Sunday (December 12).

The identity of the male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Bowling and H. Horne reported:

HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department Arson investigators responded to the scene of a house fire at a residence at the above address and learned the victim had been transported by HFD paramedics to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

A preliminary investigation did not reveal any signs of foul play, however the investigation is pending autopsy results.
