Investigation into Hit-and-Run Crash at 11300 Fondren Road

June 4, 2021 - Houston police are asking for the public's assistance in providing information in a hit-and-run crash at 11300 Fondren Road about 12:15 a.m. on May 8.

The male victim, 16, remains in critical condition at an area hospital.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer F. Flynn reported:

The victim, a pedestrian, was crossing the street at the above address when he was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on Fondren Road.  Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.  He suffered a life-threatening head injury and a broken leg. 

The unidentified driver was not on scene when officers arrived and is wanted for felony failure to stop and render aid.  

There are no known witnesses to the crash and no one has come forward to provide information since the incident occurred.
