Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6600 Glenrock Street

May 27, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 6600 Glenrock Street about 5:10 p.m. on Wednesday (May 26).  

The identity of the male victim, 50, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer D. Jones reported: 

The victim was operating a black Can-Am three-wheeler motorcycle at a high rate of speed northbound on Ledbetter Road when he turned eastbound onto Glenrock Street and lost control.  The motorcycle struck a curb, which caused it to travel sideways across Glenrock.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Memorial Herman-Texas Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.  

The investigation is continuing.
