October 5, 2021 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 700 West Loop North (West Interstate Highway 610 North) about 3:20 a.m. today.

The identity of the male victim, 36, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Uribe and Officer J. Roberson reported:

The victim was driving a white Honda Accord northbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck a concrete barricade.  The victim, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other persons or vehicles were involved in this incident.
