Investigation into Shooting at 1900 Dolly Wright Street

October 18, 2021 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of six males at 1900 Dolly Wright Street about 7:35 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 17).  

The victims, 15 to 25 years of age, were located at area hospitals. One of the victims was in critical condition and the others suffered what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Detectives M. Deleon and T. Youll reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and observed four males shot, several spent bullet casings and a crashed vehicle with multiple bullet holes in a ditch. Further investigation determined two other males located at a hospital had also been shot in the incident.

At this time, the suspect(s) and motive in the shooting are not known.
