February 22, 2022 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8820 Westheimer Road about 10:10 p.m. on Monday (February 21).  

The victim is identified as Gonzalo Lauzurique Garcia, 33.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Pak and J. Wallschlaeger reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Garcia unresponsive and lying in the parking lot.  He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the torso.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Garcia deceased.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
