August 7, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9555 Crofton Street found about 1:35 p.m. on Saturday (August 5).

The victim is identified as Jalenn Bullock, 29.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Caten and M. Barrow reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to the above address after a friend of Mr. Bullock found him unresponsive in an apartment. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Witnesses informed officers that two to three people ran out of the apartment after shots were fired. One person of interest is described only as a tall and skinny black male with a red, short "twisty" hair style.
