November 20, 2023 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the fatal shooting of a man found at 2714 Grand Fountains Road about 12:40 p.m. on Sunday (Nov. 19).

The identity of the male, 19, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Condon and J. Brown reported:

Officers responded to a meet-the-firefighter call at a wooded area at the above address and were advised the male was found deceased about 50 yards from the roadway.  He had sustained a gunshot wound. 

At this time, the circumstances and the man's manner of death are under investigation, pending an autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
