November 21, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7300 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) about 8:45 a.m. today (Nov. 21).

The identity of the deceased male, 20, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer A. Hart reported:

The male was operating a blue Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on the freeway at the above address - and riding in between two right lanes - when he struck the rear of a black Honda Civic and then the rear of a gray Jeep Cherokee.  The motorcyclist was ejected and struck a white Toyota Corolla.  Paramedics transported the male to Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Paramedics transported two persons in the Honda to an area hospital to be treated for back pain.

The investigation is continuing.
