November 27, 2023 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9800 South Freeway (South Highway 288) about 2:55 a.m. on Thursday (November 23).  

The Identity of the deceased male, 60, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer D. Glass reported:  

The man was driving a white Nissan Sentra northbound near the above address when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway and struck a ditch.  The vehicle then flipped over.  

The man was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.  

No other persons or vehicles were involved in this crash.
