November 29, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3737 Hillcroft Avenue about 6:20 a.m. today (November 29).  

The identity of the victim, 45, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Stroble and Detective K. Collier reported:  

According to witnesses, the male was shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
