October 23, 2023 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 9301 Dairy View Lane about 11:35 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 22).

The identity of the victim, believed to be 18 to 25 years of age, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Brooks and Detective C. Flora reported:

Officers responded to a person down call at the apartment complex at the above address and found the victim unresponsive, lying near some bushes. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.

There are no known witnesses or suspect(s) at this time.
