The Adopt-A-Container program is designed to assist community organizations with weekend neighborhood clean-ups. The department provides a maximum of two 40-cubic yard containers for the collection of trash and litter. A written request from the organization must be submitted to the department at least three weeks in advance of the neighborhood clean-up weekend. This service is provided to community organizations free of charge.
