Thanksgiving Day Holiday
Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD)
November 28, 29 & 30, 2013

 

Thursday, November 28, 2013 (Thanksgiving Day) - There will be no collection services. All SWMD facilities, including the Neighborhood Depositories, the Westpark Recycling Center and the Reuse Warehouse will be closed.


Friday, November 29, 2013
- Thursday Garbage, Curbside Recycling, Yard Waste and 4th Thursday Tree Waste will be collected. Neighborhood Depositories, the Westpark Recycling Center and the Reuse Warehouse remain closed.

 

Saturday, November 30, 2013 - Friday Garbage, Curbside Recycling and Yard Waste will be collected. Neighborhood Depositories and the Westpark Recycling Center re-open.

 

Residents may check online at www.houstonsolidwaste.org for the 2013 Holiday Collection Schedule or may call 3-1-1, the City of Houston Service Helpline for more information.
