Incident at 11000 Witt Road
December 4, 2005 -- Houston
police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 11000
Witt Road on December 2, 2005 about 7:55 p.m.
The identity of the deceased male victim is pending
and autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office. He
suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the
scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and
Officer S. R. Straughter reported:
The victim was found in a ditch along a remote
public roadway in Southeast Houston. He was found to have sustained
multiple gunshot wound to his hip, shoulder and head. A witness
observed a gray 1998 Chevy extended cab pick up with tinted windows
pull up and turn around in front of a residence shortly before
the incident. The witness heard multiple gunshots less than a
minute later. Another possible vehicle seen shortly before the
incident is a Chevy Suburban gray in color with tinted windows.
