Incident at 7100 Kirkpatrick

August 7, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 7100 Kirkpatrick about 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, August 6, 2006.

The identity of the male victim and the cause of death are pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Newcomb and Officer T. Huynh reported:

Union Pacific Railroad employees observed a man lying in a ditch. Upon closer inspection, the workers observed that the man was not responding and called 911. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced him dead. There were no obvious signs of injury to the victim.
