Incident at 4000 Hollister

May 7, 2006 -- Houston Police homicide detectives are investigating the shooting death of a male victim at 4000 Hollister on May 6, 2006.

Homicide investigators C. Howard and M. McStravek report:

On the night of May 6, 2006, at approximately 11:15 PM, the victim, Rocky Sanchez (W/M 7-4-88) was in the parking lot of his apartment with several friends. Three Hispanic males walked past Sanchez and his friends. For reasons unknown, one or more of the Hispanic males began firing at the Sanchez and his friends. Sanchez was struck multiple times by the gunfire and died at the scene. Two other individuals with Sanchez were also struck by gunfire and treated at local hospitals.
