Incident at 1445 Lakeside Estates Drive

May 14, 2006 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1445 Lakeside Estates Drive about 3:45 a.m. today (May 15).

The victim is identified as Jonathan Williams, 17, of 10950 Briar Forest. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer H.A. Chavez reported:

An unknown suspect shot Williams as he walked through the apartment complex with his cousin. Williams ran after being shot, however, he collapsed in the parking lot and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died. The unknown suspect fled on foot.
