Update on Incident at 11810 Algonquin

March 5, 2007 -- Houston police have learned the identity of a victim in a fatal shooting at 11810 Algonquin about 11:50 p.m. on February 19.

The victim, Enrique Colorado-Godine, 26, of 11810 Algonquin #138, suffered a gunshot wound to the head and died on February 23 at Ben Taub General Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants D. Crain, R. Odum and W. Anthony and Officer D. Arnold reported:

The victim was sitting in his car at his apartment complex listening to the radio when he was robbed and shot by unknown suspects. The victim had an undisclosed amount of money missing. He was transported to a local hospital.

Witnesses reported seeing three black males running away from the scene and leaving in a tan sports utility vehicle, possibly a Toyota Sequoia. The vehicle was seen parked outside the apartment complex prior to the shooting.
