Kidnapped Infant at 8133 Beech Cove April 14, 2008 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the kidnapping of an infant at 8133 Beech Cove about 2 p.m. on Friday (April 11). The suspect, Raeshala Raylette Morris (b/f, DOB: 4-29-86), is charged with kidnapping in the 178th State District Court. The victim, one-year old Jakaila Brantley, of Houston, was returned to her family with no apparent injuries. HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C.D. Howard and Officer B. Nabors reported: Morris, who worked for Mother Care Daycare for approximately two weeks, took Baby Jakaila from the facility. Morris was later found with the infant at 9901 Club Creek and was taken in to custody. Baby Jakaila was returned to her mother. |
