Fatal Shooting at 4100 Juliet

April 14, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4100 Juliet at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 13.

The victim, Christopher Arevalo, 20, of Houston, was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene by HFD paramedics.

Homicide Investigators Palos and Hufstedler reported:

A witness stated that the victim was standing at 4100 Juliet. A dark colored Dodge truck, possibly blue in color, drove up to the area and the victim approached the vehicle. The witness heard multiple shots being fired. The witness went to check on the victim and observed that he had been shot multiple times. The Dodge truck was last seen driving northwest on Juliet towards Broad. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by HFD.

Investigators went to the home of victim to notify family members. The family members informed the investigators that Christopher Arevalo was last seen in his father's 2001 Dodge Ram truck, TX license plate 44N-KC6. The vehicle was listed as stolen and quickly recovered when HFD was called to a car fire on Inez Street.
