Murder Investigation at 9501 West Sam Houston Parkway

April 15, 2008 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9501 West Sam Houston Parkway about 1:55 p.m. on Monday (April 14).

The victim, Bobby Lewis, 21, of Houston, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Cruz and L. Flores reported:

Officers responded to a shooting scene in the parking lot of the Park Westwood Apartments and found Mr. Lewis had been shot several times. Further investigation determined the motive for the shooting was robbery.

The suspects are described only as two black males. The first male is heavy set, very dark complexion and wearing all black clothing. The second male has shoulder length dreadlocks and is wearing a white v-neck t-shirt and blue denim shorts. Both suspects fled the scene in an unknown direction.
