Investigation into Two Deaths at 4812 Los Angeles

January 15, 2008 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the deaths of a woman and a male juvenile found after a fire at 4812 Los Angeles about 3:25 a.m. today (Jan. 15).

The deceased female victim and her juvenile son were pronounced dead at the scene. The causes of deaths of both victims and their identities are pending verification by the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N. T. Ruland and Senior Police Officer B. Nabors reported:

The victim and her two sons were asleep in their home when a fire started in the residence. One of the boys managed to escape and called 9-1-1. The victim and one of her sons were found deceased inside.

The Houston Fire Department will conduct a follow-up investigation on this incident.
