This indicator provides a measure of educational quality. The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accredits child care facilities for quality standards. The greater the number of accredited schools, the greater the number of students having access to primary school ready day care is. The indicator identifies the percentage of 3 and 4 year-olds that are enrolled in quality pre-K programming, measured for the Houston region.
