Indicator description:

This indicator provides a measure of beautiful streetscapes and public spaces. The indicator identifies the number of trees planted, measured for the City of Houston. Tree plantings enhance aesthetic value, improve air quality, reduce stormwater runoff and provide natural habitats for wildlife. They also have aesthetic value and are a part of each community’s identity.
