Indicator description:

This indicator provides a measure of community safety, character and walkability. The indicator would include block length, intersection density, continuous sidewalks, ADA accessibility and tree canopy coverage. Various community partners measure block length, intersection density and tree canopy coverage, however no comprehensive data source exists for continuous sidewalks. WalkScore, a patented measure for identifying pedestrian-oriented environments, can be reported today.
