Incident at 5900 Bissonnet

April 20, 2005 -- Charges have been filed against two suspects in the murder of a man at 5900 Bissonnet on Thursday, March 17, 2005 about 11:30 a.m.

The suspects, Teodoro Velasquez-Anariba (H/m DOB: 5-13-78) and Noe de Jesus Gonzalez (H/m DOB: 12-13-83) have been charged with capital murder in the 351st Stated District Court. Velasquez-Anariba is in police custody, but Gonzalez is not.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer H. Chavez reported:

Officers responded to a call regarding a dead person found by a dumpster. The victim was identified as Isidro Jimenez Perez, 30, of 6009 Bellaire. Perez was found wrapped in a blanket inside a mattress that was left leaning against the dumpster. Perez suffered blunt trauma to the head and other possibly injuries to his body.
