Incident at 3915 Floyd

December 22, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and a woman at 3915 Floyd about 12:15 a.m. today (Dec. 22).

The first victim has been identified as Amandre R. Wilson, 40, of 3915 Floyd. She suffered gunshot wounds to the face and chest. The second victim is identified as Joseph M. Liebetreu of 2711 Wild Ridge Drive in Kingwood. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant L.A. Flores and Officer T.R. Cunningham reported:

HPD officers responded to a reported discharging of firearms and discovered both victims shot inside of the residence. According to witnesses, Ms. Wilson and Mr. Liebetreu had just returned to Ms. Wilson's residence from a formal gathering when an unknown suspect(s) kicked open the front door and shot them. Ms. Wilson's purse and Mr. Liebetreu's wallet were missing which leads investigators to suspect robbery as a possible motive.

The suspect is only described as a tall black male in his early to mid 20s.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

In addition to the Crime Stoppers reward, Schepps Dairy Incorporated is offering up to a $10,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this crime.
