Update on Incident at 9373 Richmond Avenue

December 27, 2005 -- A suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 9373 Richmond Avenue about 2:45 a.m. on November 20, 2005 has been arrested.

Kalvin N. Forcell (b/m, DOB 9/14/84) has been charged with murder in the 351st State District Court. Members of the Ascencion Parish Sheriff's Office arrested Forcell in Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

HPD Homicide Division Officers I.F. Flores and B.D. Evans reported:

Allen Holloway, 21, of 16 Charleston Park Drive #2805 was shot inside a local pool hall during a large gathering for a music publicity event. Witnesses reported hearing several shots and finding Holloway shot multiple times after the melee. He was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died of his injuries.
