Incident at 2610 Carrolton

January 26, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 2610 Carrolton about 9 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 25).

The unidentified victim, described only as a Hispanic male, suffered multiple
gunshot wounds to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carillo and Officer H. Chavez reported:

Employees arriving for work at an auto body shop found a white pickup truck
parked in front of their business. The employees approached the truck and
found the victim in the bed of the truck. They then flagged down a passing
police car.
