M.I. Hummel Club Presents HPD With Teddy Bears for Houston Children

January 28, 2005 -- Officials with the local chapter of the M. I. Hummel Club presented the Houston Police Department with a collection of teddy bears that were purchased by their members. The presentation took place during the club's scheduled
monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at 7:30 p.m., at 10710 South
Sam Houston Parkway West.

"This is part of our charitable donation program through which we have
supported a number of organizations in the Houston area. We hope to help
comfort Houston area children who may be in need." said Ms. Marilyn Fpahr, the
club's co-president.

HPD Lieutenant Robert Manzo and Officer Richard Rodriguez accepted the group's
generous donation on behalf of the police department.
