Incident at 9304 Waller

July 6, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9304 Waller about 10:30 a.m. today (July 6).

The deceased victim has been identified as Nathan Winkley Marta, 35, of 11511 Olive Wood Court. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Carrillo and Officer H. Chavez reported:

The victim was found dead by family members this morning at an abandoned house located at 9304 Waller in southeast Houston. The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.
