Incident at 5901 Selinsky

June 10, 2005 -- Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5901 Selinsky about 11p.m. on Thursday (June 9).

The deceased victim has been identified as LeKeith Beasley, 43, of 6419 Paddington. He suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. H. Roberts and Officer C. Y Park reported:

The victim and three unidentified black male suspects were standing in the parking lot of an apartment complex at 5901 Selinsky. An argument between Beasley and the three males erupted and a fight ensued. Several shots were fired by one of the suspects, who then fled.
