Update on Incident at 9507 Tree Bridge

March 15, 2005 -- Charges have been filed against two suspects in the shooting death of Luan Cong Pham at 9507 Tree Bridge on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 about 5:00 p.m.

The suspects, Steven Tridung Trinh, (A/m DOB: 9-1-86) and Michael The Tran (A/m DOB: 6-4-84) have been arrested and charged with capital murder in the 232nd State District Court. Both were arrested without incident.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Torres and Officer S. Straughter reported:

The victim, Luan Cong Pham (A/m DOB: 10-11-86) was face down on a sofa with a pillow over his head when his father arrived home. The father assumed that he was asleep. It was not until the mother arrived home around 8:00 p.m. that they noticed Pham had been shot.
